Do I need an appointment?
Yes for full grooms, haircuts, and special-care sessions — book online or by phone. Add-ons (nail trims, ear cleanings, teeth-brushing) are walk-in friendly. Stop by during open hours and we'll squeeze you between dogs.
How long does a groom take?
A bath-and-brush runs about an hour. A full groom is around two hours. A hand-scissored breed cut on a standard poodle or doodle takes two to three hours. We schedule one groomer per appointment, so your dog isn't sitting in a kennel waiting between steps.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on breed, size and coat condition — we don't list flat prices because they wouldn't be honest. Bath & brush starts at $45, full grooms from $65, hand-scissored breed cuts from $95. Call or book online for an exact quote.

Is my anxious dog welcome?
Especially welcome. Tell us when you book and we'll schedule with Yuki or Terry, set up our quieter room, and plan for breaks. We've worked with rescues, fear-biters, ex-puppy-mill dogs, and dogs who've had bad experiences at chain salons. If yours has a story, we want to hear it.
What about senior dogs?
Terry specializes in seniors. We use a padded table, work in shorter sessions with frequent breaks, and split a groom across two visits if your dog needs that. We have soft harnesses for dogs with mobility issues. We will never push a senior dog past their limit.
Do you do cats?
Not at this time. We're a dog-only salon — it's what we know, and we'd rather refer you to a cat specialist than do an okay job on Whiskers.
What if my dog is matted?
We'll never automatically shave a matted dog. Bring them in, we'll assess the coat, and we'll always offer the option of working through the mats by hand (with a clear time estimate). If the kindest option is a short cut, we'll explain why and ask first. Either way, no shaving without your okay.
Can I bring two dogs at once?
Yes — book back-to-back appointments and we'll schedule them with the same groomer (or two groomers if you'd rather). Multi-dog households can ask about a small repeat-customer discount.
